We can start our work in from the room you choose. If the property is vacant, however, we will create a project plan and begin with the most appropriate room. The room we start from, though, is determined by the type of painting job you need. On a regular painting job involving ceilings, for example, we would start our work from the ceilings, then go on to the walls, window frames, etc. For multi-floor houses, we usually start from upstairs and work our way down, while for single-story houses, we typically start at the rear and work our way forward.

This all varies depending on how much work needs to be done for each room, such as restorations, plastering, and so on. We place a greater emphasis on the quality of our work than on the speed with which it is completed. If there are no unanticipated hurdles, your painting job will be completed on time. Typical rooms can take anything from a half-day to two days to complete. In any case, we’ll do our best to finish the room or rooms that we started painting in the morning.

This is entirely up to you. If it is included in our quotation for your project, we will paint inside the cabinets and closets, too. We will charge you separately to do so, but you will be responsible for emptying and reassembling all of the contents. Only after rooms have been painted can we paint inside the cabinets and closets, so you may use the floor space to find a safe place for these items.

Only a few rooms will be painted at a time. If we finish painting the bedroom before our working hours end, you are welcome to sleep there. We can, however, arrange a work schedule so that you can sleep in non-paint areas of your home while we paint, or you can choose how you want to approach this matter based on your preferences.

The heavier objects will be relocated or covered if needed. If you could kindly take the small, fragile, and delicate objects and put them in a secure room where we won’t be working, that would be great. Shelves have to be empty in order to be moved, and closets must be empty in order to be painted inside. The more items and objects you remove from the rooms, the faster we can finish your project.

All photos, artworks, mirrors, and other items should be taken off the walls that must be painted. You will be responsible for removing, storing, and reinstalling all photos and artwork. However, we can assist you with moving heavy items. You can make a list of the hooks, screws, and nails you want to get rid of. The unlabeled hooks, screws, and nails will be painted around and/or over. We will remove the labeled hangers, fix the holes, prepare the surface (if necessary), and paint the finish. Alternatively, we may remove all the hangers and fix them all.
